Nerve Radio

About Nerve / Made by students

A station with something to say.

Nerve Radio is a place for student voices, new music and unexpected conversations. From Bournemouth, to wherever you're listening.
ON AIR

Live from
Bournemouth.

Your station. Your sound.

Not just on air.
In it together.

The best radio feels like good company. We make room for different tastes, fresh perspectives and the enthusiasm of people sharing something they love.

Listen live, find a show that feels like you, or come and help make the next one. You don't need to have it all figured out before you start.

Find your place at Nerve.

There are plenty of ways to make a little noise. Which one sounds like you?

Behind the mic

Bring your own show idea, co-present with a friend, or discover what you love talking about. Music, culture, conversation — make it yours.

A few things you might be wondering.

Do I need radio experience?
No. Curiosity and a willingness to learn are a good starting point. Tell us what interests you and the team can explain the next steps.
Can I get involved without presenting?
Absolutely. There are ways to contribute through music, production, editorial, design, events and technical work. Choose your interests in the form below.
How much time would I need?
It depends on the role and your availability. Let the team know what works around your studies so you can find a realistic way to take part.
How do I pitch a show or send music?
Use the contact form above and select “Show idea” or “Music submission”. Share a short introduction and a link where relevant; the team will take it from there.
