AFC Bournemouth are in good spirits as they travel to Bramall Lane on Sunday.
The Cherries have been in good league form picking up two vital wins at home to Aston Villa and Brighton.
They will be looking to keep the momentum going against an impressive Sheffield United side who currently sit 6th in the Premier League, conceding just 23 goals.
I see a slight lift with the team
Eddie Howe said: “We won the game against Brighton and that was key. That lifted us and Aston Villa was much improved and we showed our quality.
“I see a slight lift with the team. We have more of a spring in our step and the lads are in a good place but we still have a long way to go.”
AFC Bournemouth will not have David Brooks this weekend. The Welshman remains on the side line and there is still no date on his return.
Although, Josh King and Jack Stacey are well on the comeback trail.
“David Brooks won’t make it this weekend and still has a long way to go. Josh King and Jack Stacey are getting closer.”
On Thursday, Premier League teams voted for transfer window to be pushed back until September.
Howe said: “There’s pros and cons, it changes the dynamic and if you don’t start well you have time to change it but you may also lose players. It gives each manager’s different positives and problems.”
Ahead of Sunday’s clash Howe was full of praise for Chris Wilder and his team.
“They have done an incredible job this season, Chris Wilder and all the staff.”
A win this weekend will make it three in a row for Bournemouth and will be vital in their battle to survive.
The game takes place Sunday at 2pm and is live on Sky Sports.
