Electronic duo Sigma will join Craig David on his special show in Southampton on Friday 1st September 2017.

Cam Edwards and Joe Lenzie, otherwise known as ‘Sigma’, meaning ‘the sum of all parts’, are currently in Los Angeles on a mini tour of North America.

The English duo have sold more than four million singles and their songs have had over 300 million YouTube views.

Speaking about the show, Sigma said:

Craig’s one of the biggest names to come out of the UK in the last 16 years. His music has been a huge influence on so many people.

“Hometown shows are always special so we’re excited to be a part of this one!”

This latest announcement comes after Craig David revealed last week that he would be playing at his iconic hometown venue, the Ageas Bowl.

It will be the singer’s biggest headline gig in Southampton, with 15,000 people expected to fill the arena.

Speaking about the concert, he said: “Southampton’s special to me, it will always be in my heart.

“To play a venue this size and finally do it at a point in my career when I’ve done so many live shows is going to be special.

“It feels like when I released ‘Born to Do It’, my first album… to announce it just feels like I’m having that moment where I’m seeing it all again, but with 16 years of experience.

“I’m ready to smash this out of the park.”

Along with songs from his latest number one album ‘Following My Intuition’, fans can also expect to see some Craig David classics.

Though most will have to wait until late summer to see the 35-year-old perform, in just over two weeks a lucky few will get to watch him at Bournemouth’s International Centre, as part of a sell-out arena tour.

Tickets for September’s show are on general sale now. More information can be found on the singer’s website www.craigdavid.com
