Something sinister is coming…
Bournemouth kicks off this Halloween with the Block Party, where 2500 monsters will roam the streets for this metropolitan electronic music festival, with more than 40 DJs & artists performing across 5 venues.
Attendees will not only have the chance to dress fancy, the event will have pop-up venues throughout Lansdowne Campus with 12 spooky headline guests, interactive areas, walkabout acts and spooky décor installations. Partygoers will be able to exchange their tickets for a wristband, which will grant them entry to all venues throughout the night. As a plus, guests who have their birthdays between the 19th of October and the 2nd of November will be treated to a free ticket.
The line-up will gather high demand artists like Zero, Ramz, Preditah, Metrik, Lengoland, Latmun, Ellie Cocks, Luck & Neat and Danny Byrd who from 9PM until 5AM. Though there will be plenty of wristbands, it is advised to arrive early to not get held back by queues and miss any artist. Brand hosts include Foreverland, Enter Bournemouth, Suddenly Funk and Techbox.
The Block Party has been running for several years in a row and with tickets sold out each year. Some past venues have been The Old Fire Station, The George Tapps, Sharkeys Sport Bar, Le Chic, Bomo Bunker and Bomo Café Bar, which give a taste of what there is to come. The festival will be celebrated nationally in several student cities across the UK as well, such as Portsmouth and Brighton.
