Tourists and residents have started filling the town streets with bustling chatter and hog roast pork rolls in each hand as the Christmas lights have finally been switched on.
This means that the Christmas market is now open and is situated in Bournemouth town centre, otherwise meaning that the festive season has officially begun!
Not only is the market offering stalls selling Nutella crepes and churros at a family size of 20 pieces at a time, but they also sell a range of freshly-cooked German sausages at The German Charcoal BBQ Bratwurst House.
Additionally, if you like your cheese, students will be pleased to know that free samples of extra mature cheese, garlic and herb cheese, chilli cheese – basically any flavour that tickles your pickle – is available for visitors of the market to try.
Warning: the cheese may be extremely addictive, meaning that you may spend extortionate amounts of money on buying some to take home.
From a merry-go-round for the children, to a range of Christmas gifts on sale, you won’t regret attending the Christmas fair (unless you’re a Scrooge).
The Moose Bar spreads the excitement throughout the town through its live entertainment of music and availability of mince pies and refreshing drinks – and yes, for those who are really celebrating – they do sell alcoholic refreshments.
If you thought that it couldn’t get any more festive, the Christmas lights lead you to an ice-skating rink, where you can work off the churros! Once you leave the ice-rink, they offer you a bar to drink mulled wine, which you can take into an extremely cute hut to warm your toes up!
Bournemouth Christmas market will be open until 23rd December.
