This is basically Tough Mudder X The Walking Dead.

Calling all zombie fans, fitness fans and anyone who fancies pretending to run for your life. A zombie escape run is coming to Bournemouth and it’s bound to get you in the Halloween spirit.

On Saturday, October 21st, hoardes of zombies will take on Kings Park, Boscombe. They’re going to (politely) attack the runners of a 5k obstacle course by stealing the three flags that they’ll be wearing. If the undead steal your flags then you’ve been infected!

After you’ve made your way through hay bale jumps, scramble nets and a maze you’ll make it to the finish line, aka the safe zone.

The event is working in association with Dorset Mind, a mental health organisation, as the event is all about enhancing mental well-being by getting outdoors and being active. By taking part you’ll be giving back to a fantastic charity as well as experiencing something you’ve probably only ever dreamed about… Am I the only one that wants to experience a zombie apocalypse.

Volunteer zombies are still needed so get practising your Halloween makeup and sign up (it’s free) or if you fancy pretending you’re a survivor in a zombie film then a student ticket for the 5k run comes to £20.77 with a booking fee.

All of the details can be found on zombie-escape.co.uk.
