Taking the top spot on our list is Elf. Since gracing our screens in 2003 Elf has become a Christmas classic, appropriate for all the family. 2. The Grinch
The 2003 live-action adaptation of the beloved children’s tale by Dr. Seuss is another family favourite. Accompanied by his reluctant dog Max, the reclusive Grinch is determined to ruin Christmas for the people of Whoville by stealing Christmas. But is the Grinch really as cold as he seems?
3. Love Actually
Love Actually is for an older audience (15+). Follow the intertwined stories of nine characters that examines the complexities of the one emotion that connects us all: love. All at Christmas, of course.
4. It’s a Wonderful Life
This 1946 classic, black and white film is guaranteed to make you cry. Follow George Bailey through his darkest moment where he considers taking his own life. Join him as he sees what his town would have looked like, if it hadn’t been for all his good deeds over the years.
5. Miracle on 34th Street
It may be last on this list but this film is still a must see. This 1947 Christmas classic is fit for all the family. Follow Kris Kringle, a man who goes to court claiming he’s the real Santa Claus.
