Statement Winter Boots

Now that the cold weather is in full swing, and Christmas is almost upon us, it’s time to amp up our wardrobe to have all those winter statement pieces! You’ll be adding these to your Christmas list, or heading straight to the shops to add these to your collection.

Boots are a winter must have. They can be chíc or comfy, but they really do tie an outfit together. Here are my top picks for your new statement boots this winter.

1. The Cowboy Boots.

Cowboy boots are back in this season, and I am loving it! They really speak for themselves and can turn a casual outfit into something much more put together. You can get them in both ankle boot, and knee high form, whichever takes your fancy.

2. The White Boots.

White boots are huge this year. They featured all over the a/w18 catwalks, and they are becoming a wardrobe staple. White is a very versatile colour. You could style them up to make a smarter outfit with black jeans and a trench coat. Or even something more casual with blue denim jeans, a big jumper and a puffer jacket.

3. Animal Print Boots.

Animal print was a huge trend in summer and it seems to have carried through to our boots this winter! Statement boots are all about being the centre piece of the outfit, and animal print is a perfect eye catcher.

Now for the classics:

4. The Chelsea Boots.

Chelsea boots come in every year. These winter boots are a wardrobe must have! You can style them with just about anything; skirts, jeans, dresses, pinafores. Smart or casual – there’s a Chelsea boot for the occasion. Leather Chelsea boots are a good idea for the rainy winter weather, but they also come in suede and in many different colours. So you can stock up on each of the styles and use it as an excuse to buy a new pair of boots every year!

5. The Knee High Boots.

Knee high’s are another staple wardrobe piece. They come back into trend every year, and really make an outfit look put together. Chucking on a pair of knee high boots can make it look like you put a lot more time, and effort into your outfit than you actually did. I don’t know about you, but I definitely need something like that in my wardrobe!

You can pair these winter boots with a skirt or dress, or even over a pair of skinny jeans.

There’s a winter boot out there for everyone and for any outfit that you can think of, so get shopping!
