The health food orientated restaurant, The Skinny Kitchen, has announced that they will be opening their first restaurant branch in the UK in Bournemouth on March 21st.
The restaurant promotes a healthy diet to go along with an active lifestyle, with their menu providing options for anyone seeking a healthy option, catering for “people that care about what they eat”.
The original Kitchen is located in Ibiza and the popularity of the restaurant on TripAdvisor ensures a steady fan base, as many previous customers anticipate the opening of the first branch in the UK.

The Skinny Kitchen team is made up of Joel Belchem, Rachel Saunders, Lois Breckell and Bournemouth University graduate, David Mason.
The four health food fanatics met while in Ibiza, where they were disappointed to find a lack of healthy eating options.
Nerve spoke to the company’s graphic designer, Rachel Saunders, who said: “In Ibiza there’s just nothing to eat that’s healthy and a lot of people these days, especially the type of person that goes to Ibiza, want to take care of their body and look good!”
She said: “We’ve got a few towns in mind, like Brighton and Canterbury, because there’s nothing else like it in these areas.”
The company collaborated with the company PhD Nutrition to create meals for the gym conscious customer.
The Skinny Kitchen will also be collaborating with PureGym in Bournemouth to provide special discounts for their customers.
The Skinny Kitchen has an extensive desert menu that offers healthy alternatives to calorie heavy snacks as seen on their Instagram account. Rachel recommended: “The protein waffles and the protein pancakes. They are amazing and super healthy, made with only three natural ingredients including PHD diet whey”
The Bournemouth branch will be located on 14 Post Office Road.
