Marvel studios and Sony have dropped their second Spider Man: Homecoming trailer and it’s filled with even more web-slinging action, wall crawling and villains.
Here are 5 things we learned:
1) Peter Parker’s best friend totally knows that Peter is Spider Man.
We got a glimpse of this in Trailer #1, but trailer #2 goes into more detail with Parker’s best friend Ned Leeds asking his friend whether he can “Summon an army of spiders” or if he knows Captain America, to which Parker responds: “I stole his shield.”
2) We get a glimpse at how Spider Man’s suit works.
One push of the spider logo on his chest and the suit tightens! So that’s how it works…
3) Spider Man loses his suit.
Don’t get to attached as it looks like Peter Parker manages to lose it to an angry Tony Stark, resulting in the web-slinger having to fight crime in a very amateur looking ‘onesi.’
4) Spider Man is a YouTube sensation.
“You’re The Spider Man from YouTube?!”
We got a glimpse of this in Captain America: Civil War during Tony Stark’s unexpected visit, but it looks like Marvel and Sony have put a modern twist on their latest interpretation of the character by making him a YouTube sensation. It’ll be interesting to see whether this has any impact on Peter Parker’s career as a photographer.
5) The Vulture is more than just a thug, he is a crime lord.
“The rich and powerful like Stark, they don’t care about us.
“The worlds changing boys. It’s time that we change, too.”
In the first trailer it looked like Michael Keaton’s Vulture was acting alone, a typical street thug who gets hold of some impressive Stark kit. However, in the latest trailer The Vulture can be seen giving commands to a group of thugs meaning he may be more of a challenge to Spider Man than we thought.
Spider Man: Homecoming is scheduled to be released in the UK on July 7, 2017.
