2. Da Mario
If you’re a pizza connoisseur family ran Da Mario, near the Triangle, offers authentic Italian wood-fire pizza. Locals highly recommend the small yet cosy restaurant for its delicious pizza, friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Serving as bring your own alcohol, there’s a small fee for corkage however the inexpensive prices for pizza balance this. It often gets busy so Da Mario recommends booking in advance to avoid waiting!
3. The Stable
Found in the picturesque Lower Gardens, the Stable boasts its West Country rustic flavours. From Dorset meat platters to handmade pies with traditional fillings, the Stable is also famous for its sourdough pizzas, ranging in locally sourced ingredients.
The relaxed vibe with bench seating and outdoor decking makes it the perfect weekend spot with only a short walk to the beach. 5. Last but certainly not least – Wok 2 Go
After a heavy night at The Old Fire Station, students often stumble to the much loved, Wok 2 Go. Located on Holdenhurst Road, the noodle bar has made its mark as a firm favourite for a post-Lollipop snack.
Yes, it may have been temporarily shut down due to a rat infestation, but it’s reopen now. So let’s forget and move on – everyone makes mistakes, right?
