It’s almost Galentine’s Day! It’s time to gear up for the second best day of the year (the first being Treat Yo’self, of course), and in preparation I’ve gathered some of Bournemouth’s best and most affordable brunch spots for you and your gal pals to browse at your pleasure.
They don’t serve alcohol but they do have sugar and carbs on tap. Take you and your gals to Sprinkles for an 11am ice cream. The Lansdowne branch is conveniently located a minute up the street from Spoons (Galentine’s Day part 2 sorted).

Milk 🍫 dripping over 🍓🍓🍓 and gooey little marshmallows. No, Naked Coffee isn’t just limited to the tiny coffee shop off the university library. They also have a Lansdowne branch that serves food (and coffee, obviously) all day, every day. If you and your gals are looking for something a bit more substantial than ice cream, Naked Coffee might be your best bet for brunch. They also have a ton of veggie, vegan, and gluten-free options.
The Inferno is pretty much a one-stop shop for everything you need. Food, alcohol, pool, retro video games. If you want to simultaneously eat and drink yourself into a coma, head over to The Inferno. Their full English cures my hangover just by looking at it.
Located just off Bournemouth Triangle, Cafe Thrive is perfect for any of your veggie friends. Trust me, you won’t miss the meat even if you’re dragged there by your vegan preachy friend.
I mean, seriously, just look how good this is.
If this hasn’t inspired you to step up your Galentine’s Day game, then you could just to Spoons like you do every night.
