February is fashion month, there seems to be an awards show every evening and we’ve seen a hint of the spring… So that means one thing, we’ve had to compile a round-up of the biggest beauty news from the second month of 2017!
MAC change the game with their innovative eyeliner
Of course New York Fashion Week would come with some incredible beauty bits being unveiled, and MAC didn’t disappoint. Makeup Artist Michael Patterson revealed a brand new eyeliner on his Instagram at the beginning of February, and it’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen.
The ‘roller wheel’ concept is brand new, with the liquid liner resembling a pizza cutter so you can wing your eyes with precision.
Available soon in patent black, matte black and matte brown – I certainly cannot wait to get my hands on it.
Celebrities stun at the BAFTAs, BRITs and Oscars.
I do not want awards season to end! This month we were treated to more incredible beauty looks.
British model Neelam Gill stunned at the BRITs with perfectly highlighted skin, understated hair tied back into a low ponytail and a deep red lip to match the red carpet.
Emma Roberts debuted new ‘blorange’ hair on the Oscars red carpet. Her Charlotte Tilbury makeup matched perfectly, with a bright red lip and dazzling yet barely noticeable orange eyeshadow.
Victoria Beckham launches second collection with Estee Lauder
With the fashion mogul’s original makeup collaboration with Estee Lauder selling on launch day, you might have to battle to get your hands on any of this!
This collection is a relaunch of her first with two new additions, a bronzer and nude lipstick which are said to be rich and have a spice inspired theme throughout.
The products were teased at New York Fashion Week and are available online and in-store from the 17th of February, hurry!
Kylie is back again, this time with highlighters.
It seems that every week, this famous Jenner sister is coming up with another product to sell at an extortionate price. The latest? Kylighters, of course!
Six different shades graced her online cosmetics site on the 28th of February, all with sickeningly sweet names like ‘French Vanilla’, ‘Banana Split’ and ‘Chocolate Cherry’.
Versace shocks with bold eyeliner and Gucci goes for glitter lips – all the fashion week looks.
This could not be a beauty news round-up without a mention of fashion month. Gucci wowed with diamon encrusted lips at Milan Fashion Week, which was a complete contrast against the models’ fresh skin.
Versace, where the makeup looks were created by Pat Mcgrath, was the complete opposite. Their looks featured heavily on the eyes, with bold over-the-top wings and nude lips.
