It’s got to that time of the week again… FRI-YAY
Nerve Entertainment is back with this weeks Entertainment news round up. And what a week it’s been!
The week started with a BANG! With this year’s BAFTAS and the Grammys and there were some huge winners. The big winner of the night was Hollywood’s latest film ”La La Land” which picked up a whopping 5 awards including the biggest award of the night ‘Best Film‘, Emma Stone walked away with ‘Best Actress in a Leading Role‘ and ‘Best Cinematography‘. Other winners included Dev Patel for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and The Jungle Book for Best Visual Effects.
Further across the pond we had the prestigious GRAMMY awards with our very own Adele by far the biggest winner (again) picking up 5 awards including Album of the Year, Song of the Year (Hello) and Best Pop Vocal Album beating Queen B (Beyonce). Adele made a very emotional shout out to Bey whom she couldn’t believe hadn’t won and thanked the academy and her fans.
… It wasn’t all bad for Beyonce though who took away the award for Best Urban Contemporary Album with ‘Lemonade’.
The long awaited return of the The Walking Dead season 7 was back this week after its mid season break with fans claiming ”it was the right transition, much more interesting than the previous season”. It was also a good opening episode which was builder for the upcoming few weeks with Rick being left in a difficult situation.
