Nerve is YOUR student media and is run entirely by students, for students.
It will soon be time for this year’s leadership to leave us, and we want you to take their place next year. With over 40 student leader positions available throughout the year, the team is bigger than ever, and you have the opportunity to take responsibility for huge range of different things.
Check out the positions available below, download the job profiles and get applications sent off by midnight Sunday 22nd May. Your applications should convey why you think you’re right for the role (and any supporting work you think we should see). We’ll email you back after the deadline, and the best candidates will be chosen for an interview at Nerve, with the successful candidates for each role announced soon after. You can send applications for as many roles that you feel are relevant to you.
For an overview of all the positions available, check out our booklet
For details on who to send your application to, and how many words you should roughly write in your application, check the information at the bottom of each of the job profile documents below.
THE DEADLINE HAS NOW PASSED, AND ANY FURTHER APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
NERVE ONLINE
Nerve Online is looking for a new dedicated team to develop the website further into its fifth year. Nerve Online is the online hub for Nerve Media, working with Nerve Radio, Magazine and News to provide daily content ranging from gig reviews to comment articles. After a redesign last year, this year Nerve Online has continued to provide a record amount of content, including interviews with bands The Hoosiers, Enter Shikari and Peace as well as exclusive reviews for a number of games and music albums. Nerve Online also got its own social media channels this year, live blogging events like the SUBU Elections through Twitter and Facebook.
The best part of Nerve Online is that you can work wherever you are, either at home in your pyjamas, between lectures or even in another country! You don’t have to have written for Nerve before and you do not have to be doing a media related degree (one of our current editors does Events Management!).
