Nerve Now are looking for creative individuals to keep the website up to date with everything student related! All individuals should be motivated to create new content, but also be great at encouraging others and working as a team with other editors and writers!

Positions:

Editor in Chief

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of editors to create interesting and creative content
  • Coming up with ideas for content alongside other editors
  • Connecting with brands and venues to get connected to events in Bournemouth
  • Ensure that standards are upheld across Nerve Now
  • Meet with other Nerve departments to discuss collaborations and future events
  • Edit and curate content for the site

Entertainment Editor

Responsibilities include:

  • Connecting with brands and venues in Bournemouth for upcoming events
  • Come up with content ideas related to TV, music, film, books and all things entertainment
  • To edit and guide the work of contributors
  • To keep connected with the Editor in Chief and other departments to ensure that Nerve Now runs smoothly

Lifestyle Editor

Responsibilities include:

  • Keeping up to date with a variety of topics so that knowledge is current
  • Come up with content ideas related to lifestyle, for example cooking, or any holidays such as Christmas or Halloween
  • To edit and guide the work of contributors
  • To keep connected with the Editor in Chief and other departments to ensure that Nerve Now runs smoothly

Fashion Editor

Responsibilities include:

  • Keep up to date with current fashion trends (for everyone)
  • To come up with fresh ideas to display campus and student-friendly fashion
  • To edit and guide the work of contributors
  • To keep connected with the Editor in Chief and other departments to ensure that Nerve Now runs smoothly

Social Media Editor (x2-3)

Responsibilities include:

  • Keeping social media platforms up to date with current articles and events
  • Boosting the social media presence of Nerve Now
  • Attending events and posting live on social media
  • Keeping in touch with editors to ensure that the social media platforms reflect Nerve Now
